How We Verify Creator Profiles
Our four-stage verification process explained
Every creator profile listed on FanClubOnly goes through a structured verification process before it becomes searchable in our directory. This page explains exactly what we check, why we check it, and what it means when you see the verified badge on a profile.
We built this process because we believe fans deserve accurate, current information when they are looking for creators to follow. A directory full of inactive accounts, placeholder profiles, or accounts that no longer exist wastes your time. Our verification pipeline exists to prevent that.
What Verified Means on FanClubOnly
When a creator profile on FanClubOnly carries the verified badge, it means the profile has passed all four stages of our verification process at the time it was last checked. It does not mean we have a personal relationship with the creator or that we have independently audited their content. It means the account is confirmed as real, active, and accurately represented in our directory.
Stage One: Account Existence Confirmation
The first thing we confirm is that the OnlyFans account exists and is publicly accessible. We check that the profile URL resolves to a live account page rather than returning a 404 error or a deactivated account notice. Accounts that cannot be confirmed as existing are not added to the directory.
Stage Two: Active Status Check
An account existing and an account being active are two different things. A creator may have joined OnlyFans years ago, posted for a few months, and then stopped entirely. Their profile technically still exists but they are no longer creating content. We check that each creator has been active within a defined recent window before listing them. Accounts that show no activity signs are marked as inactive and are either excluded from the directory or clearly labeled so fans are not misled.
Stage Three: Profile Completeness Check
A profile that has a username but no biography, no profile image, and no content information gives fans nothing to make a decision with. Before a creator appears in our directory, we confirm that their profile includes a profile image, a completed display name, and basic account information. Shell profiles that exist in name only do not pass this stage.
Stage Four: Category and Metadata Accuracy
Fans searching for creators in a specific category, location, or by appearance are relying on our directory data being accurate. The fourth stage of our process checks that the category tags, location data, and profile metadata attached to each creator in our system accurately reflect what the creator actually offers. Miscategorized profiles create a poor experience for fans and unfairly compete with creators who do belong in those categories.
How Often We Re-Verify
Verification is not a one-time event. Creator accounts change over time. Someone who was active in January may have paused their account by March. Our pipeline re-checks profiles on an ongoing basis. When a previously verified creator no longer meets the active status criteria, their verified badge is removed and their profile status is updated in our system. Fans using FanClubOnly search can filter for active creators specifically for this reason.
What We Do Not Verify
We want to be transparent about the limits of our process. We do not verify the identity of creators beyond confirming the account exists on OnlyFans. We do not verify earnings claims made by creators. We do not verify content quality or endorse any specific creator. FanClubOnly is a discovery tool, not a review platform. Our verification process is specifically about profile accuracy and account activity, nothing more and nothing less.
Reporting an Inaccurate Profile
If you find a creator profile on FanClubOnly that appears to be inactive, inaccurate, or incorrectly categorized, we want to know.
